• Rosemary Elementary – Serves slightly more than 500 students in grades Kindergarten through 4. Rosemary Elementary is a public charter school.
• Village School – A public charter school serving about 260 children in grades Kindergarten through 5.

Middle schools located in Campbell

• Campbell Middle School – Serves slightly more than 700 students in grades 5 through 8.
• Rolling Hills Middle School – Has a Los Gatos address, the school is considered to be within the City of Campbell. It serves nearly 1,000 students in grades 5 through 8. Rolling Hills is a public charter school.

The only high school located in Campbell is Westmont High, serving more than 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12.

Getting Around in Campbell

Campbell residents have easy access to Highways 880 and 17, with connections to other major highways. The city is also on the VTA light rail line, with three local stations.

Local and express buses run throughout the city, connecting residents to destinations such as Palo Alto, San Jose, Cupertino, Santa Clara and others.

Shopping and Dining

Shopping in Campbell is a delight, with several large malls serving the area’s residents. The Pruneyard Shopping Center offers a bit of a one-stop shop, with banking, clothing retailers, health and beauty services, dining and entertainment.

The Campbell Plaza on Winchester Blvd. also offers residents a supermarket, a multiplex theater, retail stores, and restaurants. There are several other similar places to shop and dine, such as the Kirkwood and San Tomas Plazas.

Arts, Entertainment and Events

One of the truly bright spots on the Campbell culture scene is the Heritage Theatre. Here, residents from across the valley enjoy dance performances, big-name music concerts (the Pointer Sisters, Sammy Kershaw, Elvin Bishop) and theatrical performances.

The Starbright Theatre is a smaller performing arts space, available to rent. Here, Campbell residents enjoy various theatrical performances, dance and more.

Residents look forward to the many annual events held in Campbell. The Summer Concerts Series is a favorite, held on the Orchard City Green in the evening. The series starts in mid-June and runs for eight weeks with a different band taking to the stage every week.

There’s always something happening in Downtown Campbell and on the 4^th of July it really gets cooking.

Getting Outdoors

Campbell Park is not only a great place to shoot some hoops, pitch horseshoes, and let the kids go crazy on the playground, but it offers access to the phenomenal Los Gatos Creek Trail. This nearly-10-mile trail is popular with walkers, bicyclists, hikers, and skaters.

The City of Campbell offers more than 10 neighborhood parks and green spaces scattered throughout the city. They contain a variety of amenities, from children’s play areas to basketball courts, horseshoe pits and more.

The Los Gatos Creek County Dog Park is operated by Santa Clara County and offers Campbell residents a safe space for their dogs to socialize with others. Double-gated entries, separate areas for large and small dogs, benches for the two-legged, pooper scooper stations and dog-sized water fountains make this dog park one of the most popular in the valley.

Homes in Campbell, California

Campbell is home to more than 19,000 housing units, according to the United States Census Bureau.

The city’s real estate market has come a long way since Mr. Campbell sold his land for $5 an acre back in 1878. Today, a parcel of about one-third of an acre lists for $1.25 million.

Homes for sale are usually detached, single-family homes built between the 1950s and 1970s, but there is also a nice supply of condos, duplexes, and townhomes.

The largest homes are typically the newest and fetch up to $3.5 million plus. More modest homes in the area are priced from $1.5M – $2.0M.
